De nuevo Alina Records nos propone un viaje por la música de
un maestro del jazz y de la improvisación. La propuesta, en esta ocasión,
amplía sus timbres a diversos instrumentos de cuerda pulsada y al violín para
que cuatro grandes artistas centroeuropeos expresen la inspiración del
incansable y genial pianista Paul Bley, una de las figuras más influyentes y
generosas del siglo XX y parte del XXI. Este constructor y deconstructor de
melodías y modos, de maneras y actitudes creativas, ha sido una de esas
personas sin las cuales nuestra música actual no sería como lo es hoy en día.
Christian Vasseur, Richard Bonnet, Nöel Akchoté y Matthias Boss interiorizan magistralmente
las múltiples caras de esta poliédrica figura fundamental de nuestra cultura
sonora... y de nuestra más íntima sensibilidad artística…

ago a friend of mine, the composer Jacques Deregnaucourt talked to me about
Paul Bley and we listened some musics together. It was a solo recording, maybe
Alone Again. I really enjoyed this border line music, jazz and non-jazz mood
with, plucked strings, modal approach with very quite and deep spaces. It was
empathetic with the mood I looked for at this time. Since this discovery Paul
Bley remains one of my favourite border line pianists and musicians"
